A literary journal made entirely by hand, each issue of Filter contains erasures and other literary art alongside unaltered poetry, fiction, and visual art. Each issue is produced in a limited edition of 200 copies and has won several grants.

 

The creators envision each issue being shared by friends over a large table in an explosion of words and art, kind of like the Sunday edition of the New York Times. There's no intended order to the contributions of each volume. Each user personalizes their journey in terms of order, pace, and experience of the content.
